Tamás Estates’ popular Italian varietals thrive in California's Mediterranean climate. Our Pinot Grigio, grown in Monterey County’s cool-climate, is light, aromatic and crisp with full flavors of grapefruit and citrus. Sourced from the warmer climes and gravelly soils of the Livermore Valley, our red wines thrive in these perfect conditions. Tamás Estates’ Barbera is rich with flavors of cherry, pomegranate and a hint of vanilla. Medium-bodied with earth tones, our Sangiovese is bright with cherry flavors and a hint of oak. Our Zinfandel, recognized as a relative to Italy’s "Primitivo" grape, is a lighter-style red wine with lively berry, black pepper and plum flavors.

Special Release Wines
In our quest to explore the boundaries of California-Italian wines, we also create a handful of small lot, special release wines we call Prima Classe Riserva. These limited release wines are available exclusively upon release to our wine club members, and then only in our tasting room and online store.
